Boat life
Mollösund harbour is one of those ”pearls” that you hear about along the West coast
Mollösund has become a popular stop for many boat owners. You get a tingle in your stomach when you imagine how it looked over 100 years ago. At the end of the 19th century the harbour was crammed with fast cutters, that had been bought cheaply from Great Britain. At that time the harbour extended all the way out along the sound to Mollö island.
On a rainy day tour the harbour with Hamnrundan. A wonderful mixture of cafes, restaurants, shops to buy from and a craft museum all wait to put a shine on your rainy day in Mollösund.
If you moor in the harbour overnight during May, June, the end of August (from the 22nd) and September, you can use the Bästkust guest harbour card.
There are 100 guest berths for visiting boats in Mollösund. Toilet and shower facilities are available, and you can also do your laundry if you need to. You can refuel your boat at the filling station.
Several restaurants and cafes offer high quality food and drink. Tennis, boules and mini golf await those who want some exercise.
