Say it properly The name of the village, Mollösund, has changed often during the years. Older writings reveal many spelling changes. We see such names as Måhlsund, Molesund, Molesunt and Mollsen. You can still hear the latter when locals are speaking.

There are 100 guest berths for visiting boats in Mollösund. Toilet and shower facilities are available, and you can also do your laundry if you need to. You can refuel at the filling station.

The guest harbour fees are SEK 140 per night, with a further SEK 30 for electricity. The harbour fee is paid in the Tappen office after mooring.

If you moor in the harbour overnight during May, June, the end of August (from the 21st) and September, you can use the Bästkust guest harbour card. Collect stamps for each night and get the 4th night stay free.

When the guest harbour card is full, give it to the harbourmaster or send it in to Bästkusten. You will then be entered into a draw whereby the 10 winners get vouchers for a free overnight stay, which can be used in any of the Bästkusten’s 20 guest harbours.

The harbour is open from May 1 to September 30.
